1st Yearly School (online) on March 3rd-5th, 2021
Our PIs, Doctoral Researchers and Associated Researchers got together at the Yearly School 2021 for three days. After the succesfull Kick-off Meeting held in Bamberg one year ago, due to the on-going pandemic this time the Yearly School was held online.
After two Invited Talks by Dr. Hisamoto on the Evolution of Energy Electronis Devices, and Prof. Kano on Gender Diversity in the field of STEM, the stage was open to our Doctoral Researchers from Project A-L. They presented two presentations each – one about their own project, and one about their work in the Collaborative Project. All of them had the chance to win one of the Young Researcher Award in the categories „Best Communication“, „Best Effort“, or „Highest Impact“. On the final day, Co-Speaker and NITech Vice President Prof. Dr. Kakimoto announced the tentative date and schedule for the second Yearly School in 2022 – in Nagoya, Japan. All members hope that traveling to- and from Japan will be possible soon!
