FAU ahead in Materials Science and Chemistry
Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremburg (FAU) has once again performed excellently in the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2021: Materials Science and Chemistry remain among the top 150, and Materials Science has even made it into the top 100. In the categories focusing on citations and publications, in other words how often researchers are cited or the number of publications they have to their name, FAU came out among the top 100 for the subjects Chemistry, Materials Science and Mathematics. The QS has evaluated more than 5500 universities worldwide.
This success can be also seen in national rankings. FAU is ranked as one of the top ten locations within Germany in: Materials Science (5th place), Chemical Engineering (7th place), Electrical Engineering (8th place) and Mechanical Engineering (8th place).
